Ken is a Senior Deputy City Attorney for the City of Portland who handles legal representation for the Bureau of Transportation and City owned spectator venues like Providence Park, the Rose Quarter, and the Keller Auditorium. Prior to that, he was in private practice. He has a B.A. from the University of Washington, his J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College, and an LL.M in taxation from the University of Washington School of Law.
He has served on non-profit boards in the past, including the founding board of technology recycler Free Geek. He was also a founding member and coach for 13 years of the Grant High School We the People Constitution team which has won the national championship three times.
Ken and his family are avid soccer fans and both of his daughters have played for United. When he is not watching them play soccer, he plays competitive tennis in USTA leagues in the area.
